Design and construction

The headphones come in a very large box made of thick cardboard. The lid opens upwards and the headphones are placed on a stylish-looking pedestal. At the moment, there are two versions of the headphones available: the completely black version and the Gold Edition with yellow cables and a logo on the right earcup.

The black version has minimal branding, with only a logo on the inner part of the headband. Personally, I really like this, as Pioneer tends to plaster logos everywhere, but the TMA-1 is a different kind of headphone, made for its own fans.

Among the available accessories are cables, ear cushions, cases, and even a TMA-1-themed flash drive, which is an interesting touch.

It's worth mentioning that this model has a cult following among DJs, and the company's website features a list of DJs who use this model, as well as interesting videos about the headphones.
