For correct activation and programming, the device emits a high-frequency radio pulse, requiring adherence to distance and positioning rules:

1. Device positioning: bring the ATEQ VT37 scanner antenna directly to the tire sidewall next to the inflation valve at a distance of 1–5 cm.

2. Activation and reading: press the central scan button. The device sends a radio pulse at a frequency of 125 kHz to "wake up" the sensor, then receives a response signal at a frequency of 315 MHz or 433 MHz with wheel data.

3. Programming a new sensor: select the make, model, and year of manufacture of the car in the menu, specify the brand of the installed non-original sensor, and choose the method (creating a new ID or cloning the original ID). Hold the new sensor close to the top of the device body until data recording is complete.
