Sawade

Sawade is a confectionery brand with a rich history, founded by Ladislaus Maximilianus Ziemkiewicz in 1880 in Berlin. He became the first praline manufacturer in Berlin and opened his first shop producing homemade chocolates and sweet treats on the famous "Unter den Linden" boulevard.

Sawade Berlin emphasizes its dedication to old traditions in the production of pralines and truffles. They use traditional methods to prepare the fillings and take pride in hand-churning their wheat flakes. The brand strives to preserve such artisan traditions and pass them on to future generations.

Sawade uses only natural ingredients and the best raw materials. They do not use chemical preservatives, artificial flavors or cheaper substitutes. The marzipan they produce has won awards for its high quality and is used in the brand's chocolate products.

Their products have repeatedly received high marks from experts and various awards, such as gold and a Special Prize at the international Chocolate Awards competition, silver medals from the British Academy of Chocolate and two stars at Great Taste in London.
