Description
Touch screen (touchscreen) for Apple iPad 3 and 4 in black color - is one of the main control elements of the tablet. Touch screen is used for controlling and adjusting the entire tablet. The touch screen is one of the components of the display assembly. It is sold separately from the display (matrix). It is connected to the system board using contacts located at the end of the flex cable. Touch screen is made using capacitive technology, which allows you to control the tablet with your fingers without using a stylus.
Replacing only the touch panel (without the screen) significantly saves money on purchasing a new LCD assembly. The touch screen will be needed in case the standard one has stopped working due to the following reasons:
- Mechanical damage;
- Controller software failure.
It is not recommended to replace the touch screen yourself - it is better to entrust this work to specialists in a service center. Without the relevant experience in replacing this part, there is a possibility of damaging other electronic components of the device, in particular, the expensive matrix.
